How to Organize a Kik Messenger Party?

The first thing to decide is the kind of party you would like this to be. We will leave that to your own imagination. Next, you will need to decide how you would like to invite to your party. Ask yourself if you would like your Kik party to be a rather exclusive affair or if you are of the mind of “the more, the merrier”. This is something really important to determined because it will decide whether you would just like to invite some (or all) of your Kik Messenger friends or, go out and try to “recruit” people to join your party.

If you decide that you would like to keep your Kik Messenger party to your existing friends, you could just go ahead and manually add them to your party. There are two ways of doing this. You can add either start your Kik party and add your friends at the same time or you could instead add friends to an existing party of yours later on.

1. Grab your smart phone or mobile device.
2. Launch the Kik Messenger app.
3. Go to the main chats list.
4. If you have an iOS device (either an iPhone or an iPod, you will need to tap on the “talk to” icon, located in the top right hand side of your screen. If, however, you have an Android mobile device, then tap on the “talk to” icon located in the bottom right hand side of your screen. The only difference is really the location of the “talk to” icon, otherwise, the process is exactly the same.
5. Then, you will need to select the “start a group” option.
6. Next, just tap on the names of the Kik friends that you would like to include to your party. Notice, though, that this activity will actually add them to the party and not just invite them. This means that after this process is concluded the Kik group will have been created and all your friends added whether they want to or not. It is up to you to let them know before hand that you are creating a group or not. Just consider that they may abandon your party straight away if they did not expect to be added to it. That would be a disastrous start to your party, would it not? The good news is that you can keep adding friends even after the party is in full flow, as we will show you in a bit on this article.
7. After adding all the friends you would like to “attend” your party one by one, you will be given the opportunity to set a specific name and even choose a picture for your party. Notice a few things about this. The first thing to notice is that this is fully optional but that you will probably have a bigger rate of success with your Kik party if you do give it a name and attached a picture to it. The second thing to notice is that you will be able to change either the name or the picture (or both) later on even after the party has begun.
8. Once you have chosen your friends, etc. you can begin the party by simply tapping on the “start” icon, located in the top right hand corner of your screen.

That is all it takes to start your Kik party.

If you already have a Kik party going and would like to add more people to it, just follow these steps:

1. From the group chat in question, tap on the “info” icon located in the top right hand corner of your screen.
2. Then tap on the “add” icon to select, one by one, the friends that you would like to add to your party.
3. Finally, tap on the “done” icon.

Kik parties, however, can be an excellent way to meet new people and make new friends. So, if you would like to invite people to join your party a great way of doing so is by using Kik codes. Your party will be assigned a Kik code. In order to find out what it is and to share it across social media so that others can scan it and enter your party, just follow these steps:

1. Go to the group chat in question.
2. Then simply tap on the “info” icon.
3. From all the different options, tap on “show Kik Code”.
4. Finally, tap the “share” icon.

If you have a social media presence you could share your group Kik Code. Popular media sites to do so include Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. Just do not forget to add relevant hash tags so that people will be able to find your Kik code.

If you are looking to join a Kik Messenger party, all you will need to do is head over to social media and look for Kik codes. Once you find one that seems attractive enough, scan it with your smart phone or mobile device and you will be added to the party straight away.
